Medtronic Plc, the world leader in medical expertise, announced the opening of its newly expanded state-of-the-art Medtronic Engineering and Innovation Center (MEIC) here on Wednesday.
Responding to a press launch, the 1.5 lakh sq ft research and development facility was inaugurated by IT and Industry Minister KT Rama Rao.
With this growth, MEIC aims to leverage the large pool of specialist expertise many more in India to further its pioneering work within the medical expertise in-house.

This funding is deliberated over 5 years, with the goal of fostering international innovation and creating multiple job options, as mentioned.
